About

Anton Falck is a Copenhagen based visual artist, performer, and musician born 06/19/1992 in Copenhagen. While many encountered him first as the singer of the synth pop duo First Hate, Falck’s artistic practice today is equally rooted in visual art. His work moves between sculpting, painting drawing, performance, and music.

In the field of visual arts, Falck works primarily with figurative sculptures, paintings and drawings. He has developed his own distinctive drawing-language from continuous doodle lines. Men, horses, and other creatures in small theatrical situations, sometimes intimate, sometimes alone. Through his works the horses carry suggestions of both instinct, freedom, and virility but also ultimate domestication and submission.

His first solo exhibition, Cotton Candy · Re poetry, took place at Copenhagen Contemporary in 2023. Other exhibitions and projects include the group exhibition The Sun, The Stars, The System at Kanonbådshusene in 2024, the performance Hello It’s Me at Kunsthal Charlottenborg in collaboration with Goodiepal in 2019, and the performance project Olymphia Paradiso at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek directed by Loke Rahbek and Kristian Emdal 2017. Earlier works include The Road to Europe, a live performance in Moscow in 2015 created with French artist Josephine de La Baume.

Falck has been working with the theatre group “Institutet” in Vitesaniemi, northern Sweden, and has starred in various experimental theatre plays and performances in Stockholm, Vitsaniemi and Berlin.

in 2013 Falck started the band First Hate together with Joakim Wei Bernild, which over the next 14 years gained both national and international success, with 4 Roskilde Festival shows, touring China, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, Europe, UK, and U.S.A multiple times, and several albums, ep’s and singles.

In 2025 he launched his self titled solo project Anton Falck and scored the queer movie Sauna (Nordisk Film) with his song “All The Pretty Boys”, which earned him a nomination for a Robert Award in the category original song of the year. He is currently finishing his first solo album which is expected to land at the end of this year.
